Diamond wire saw systems for the cuts a blade cannot reach: bridge piers, thick foundations, heavily reinforced walls and underwater structures.

A wire saw pulls a beaded diamond wire through the section under constant tension, so there is no depth limit and almost no vibration transmitted into the structure. That makes it the standard method for controlled demolition next to live buildings, and for any cut deeper than roughly half a blade diameter.
